Tracey has been delighting children at birthday parties for more than fifteen years and has often entertained at the parties of multiple kids in the same families! She typically dresses in fun, colorful, kid-friendly clothing. She can, by request, perform in the guise of Sweet Pea the Clown, the least intimidating clown you'll ever have met. You can choose the measure of costuming. (Sweet Pea will wear little or no clown makeup if you think that's the best approach for your child and friends. No wig? No problem!) Tracey (or Sweet Pea) can do fun interactive musical entertainment, balloon twisting, and/or face painting in any combination you think your child, family, and guests will enjoy most. She is punctual, professional, flexible and easy-going, infinitely patient, gentle and kind, and very easy to work with.

All of Tracey's energetic interactive birthday parties include singing (including your special requests and plenty of classic children's songs for singing along), "live" guitar accompaniment, lively music for dancing, creative movement (sometimes with scarves), a percussion jam (she brings instruments--FRESHLY SANITIED-- for all of the kids to play), a follow-the-leader activity in which each child is offered a chance to be "the leader", a handful of traditional children's party games, a bit of puppetry (mostly to add a dash of silliness to familiar songs or a visual element to songs that tell stories), and more interactive musical fun. If space and the number of children allow for parachute play, kids across the age spectrum will love this activity!

For the past 15 years Tracey has had the great pleasure of balloon twisting at parties, corporate events, festivals, church functions, country clubs, school picnics, political rallies, marathon races, and all kinds of community events. She's upbeat and positive, a little bit silly, and very patient with the kids, and she can answer most of their requests. Some of her most-requested "line" (simpler, one to three-balloon) sculptures are: dogs (with or without leashes), cats (with or without bows), ducks, flamingoes, chickens, rabbits, pigs, penguins, tigers, lions, elephants, giraffes, monkeys climbing trees, bears holding hearts or flowers, snakes, dragons, crocodiles, horses, unicorns, dinosaurs, caterpillars & butterflies, spiders, octopi, fish, and many more critters; Batman & Spiderman, aliens, Ninja Turtles, Pikachu, Elmo and Cookie Monster, Minnie, Mickey, and princess wands, tiaras and crowns, mermaids, ladybug bracelets, turtle bracelets, flower bracelets, lots of different hats, swords, light sabers, and laser guns, airplanes, cars, palm trees and flowers... phew! Too many to name them all! Tracey carries Qualatex and Bellatex twisting balloons in 20+ colors plus lots of "specialty" balloons (shapes and imprinted balloons) which serve as the foundations of some really fun balloon sculptures.

Tracey has been face painting for a decade and a half and does all styles of painting--full faces, cheek art, masks, eye designs, and hand/arm painting for the children who are not keen on having their faces painted. You, the client, may determine which styles you'd like to have Tracey offer the children. She brings picture boards from

You, the client, may determine which styles you'd like to have Tracey offer the children. She brings picture boards from which to choose, but the kids are not limited to the selections on her boards. She loves to paint from the kids' imaginations, too! She works with the 3 brands of professional face paints she has found to be the best for color, saturation, and washability, and they're all non-toxic and hypo-allergenic. She carries paint in 30+ colors, rainbow cakes in 20 wonderful color combinations, and both glitter and pixie dust each in several different colors. All of her products are non-irritating and non-toxic, made especially for children's faces.
